Dr. Eubanks provides cognitive behavioral and narrative-relational therapy, with a focus on insight, choices and personal growth. She also provides short term treatment planning and therapy to help clients implement recommendations made within a psychological evaluation or clinical assessment.
Personal Wellness
Counseling can be a vital tool for goal setting, career development, physical health and stress management. Dr. Eubanks, Ph.D completed the Institute for Integrative Nutrition at the same time as her doctoral degree, and is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor. She can assist you with developing an Individual Wellness Plan to address Self Care, Stress Relief, Natural Health or Work/Life Balance, including assessments for career changes, healthy eating, executive function (planning and organizing), and barriers to self care. We offer the Quality of Life Inventory, the Campbell Interest Inventory for Vocational Development, and a unique self care measure called LOVE.
Diagnostic Assessment
A diagnostic assessment is an in depth review of current issues, relevant history, and personal goals. It provides an understanding of what the challenges are, how they affect you, and what the best options for therapy may be.
Critical Thinking and Cognitive Assessment
Certain behavioral or mood disorders, such as ADHD, Anxiety and PTSD can influence how a person makes decisions, evaluates choices and processes information. We offer in depth cognitive assessment, to determine intellectual ability, executive function and critical thinking skills. Results of the assessment are then utilized to implement a specific critical thinking, vocabulary and logic program.
Psychological Evaluations
A psychological evaluation includes a review of current issues, relevant history and personal goals, with attention to specific areas, including academic skills, intellect, behavior, emotional functioning, memory, developmental maturity, and exposure to trauma.
The information gathered is used to determine the presence or absence of a learning disability, behavioral disorder, or other psychological concern, and to establish individual strengths. It also structures treatment plans and informs which therapeutic services to choose. All results are confidential. In some instances, Dr. Eubanks can provide court testimony or consultative input at a case management team meeting.
